Danske Grafikeres Hus is an exhibition centre for graphic art. The exhibiting artists range widely, and the centre presents different printing methods and artistic expressions.
The exhibition centre is run by the Association of Danish Printmakers and is run on a voluntary basis. There is a board of directors and a two-year exhibition committee, plus extra help from members for special tasks in connection with looking after individual exhibitions in the house, organising member exhibitions, etc.
The Danish Graphic Artists Association, which today comprises around 200 professional graphic artists, aims to promote interest in and knowledge of the graphic arts. The activities, the dissemination of material from abroad and the exhibitions have grown to such an extent that in the early 1990s a separate secretariat became necessary.
