Summer Days – Summer Nights

As Scandinavians, we live in bleak light half of the year. The annual arrival of spring feels like a reward. On sunny days the parks and streets are full of people, the temperature doesn’t have to be high, just a glimpse of sunshine draws young and old out of their homes. The long, light filled nights are treasured. Memories of looking at the sea at midnight with the sun still floating on the horizon. An infusion of light is poured into us to help us endure another long winter.

The group show Summer Days & Summer Nights explores the season’s light.
