Room for Improved Futures is the title of a two year exhibition program based on an international network. The project is initiated by rum46 – curated and organized by curator Agnieszka Wolodzko and visual artist Grete Aagaard in collaboration with the art projects and platforms Trade Test Site, Sigrids Stue, Imaginary Republik and CCS Centre for Contemporary Art Kiev.
In Room for Improved Futures we invite a diverse group of practitioners, artists, writers and theorists who will address issues on democracy, urbanity, participation, community and hidden economies. The project is organized in 4 public programs each divided in 3 sessions which will include artists’ talks and presentations, exhibitions, lectures, texts and workshops.
Tatiana Fiodorova
Only I know how we survived
In the artist’s talk and exhibition Fiodorova will focus on her artist’s books, which are one of her most prevalent means of expression. The exhibition will include publications: eg Only I know how we survived (2018), Soviet Passport (2014) and Factory Steaua Rosie (2014). The book Only I know how we survived has been produced for the exhibition in rum46. Fiodorova will also present her performance I am not toilet paper.

The dissonance of memory (chapter II)
The artist will present her on-going project The dissonance of memory developed during several artist residencies at Sigrids Stue, Gellerup since 2015.

The focus in Inyna Solovey work and the talk in rum46 is resilience and how it can be evoked by individuals, organizations and cities.
