IN is a preposition often at the center of a sentence but rarely the center of attention. It positions you in time and in space. Within multiple languages, it represents the movements into a space. It is also an invitation to enter the installation.
In this project we are using fishnet-stockings to reference bodies, creating a visual metaphor that explores the way in which psychological spaces are built and collapse in feedback loops between bodies and environment. It presents hidden and distant parts to which we want to return. It is a physical manifestation of an often quiet and invisible psychological experience.
