In Infinity Scroll, Anne Haaning explores our dependency on technology to 'see' the world, and what this reveals about the ways our digital inventions make us understand and see ourselves.
At the centre of the exhibition is a life-size wax astronaut, bent under the weight of 'seeing' through an Infinity Scroll aimed at a sky obstructed by a selfie ring. Other works spanning video and archival material weave together narratives around pattern recognition, from the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, to AI.
