One Thursday in May we gather in a circle and sing the darkness away. Green is a performance and singing session created by Niels Munk Plum with the intent of creating community and hope.
Experience it during Art Matter Festival in the exhibition Prolonged Exposure that centers around mental health, vulnerability and strength, and how art and dialogue can become medicine and a catalyst for hope and healing in the face of hopelessness and despair.
Niels himself has experience using song as a tool to process anxiety and grief. In this performance he creates a ceremonial space in which the summer and the light are performatively welcomed again.
Niels Munk Plum (b. 1992) works with staging the body and language in a performance-based discourse where the aim is to queer the self from the use of already existing logic.
