Project 4850 marks the beginning of a movement initiated by Danh Vo and Business Lolland-Falster, aimed at setting a town in motion.
There is one clear goal: to put Stubbekøbing on the map as a vibrant town that, in a modern and environmentally conscious way, reimagines its existing buildings and revitalizes an area with commerce, craftsmanship, sustainability, creativity, and tourism.

Journalist Oliver Stilling presents Project 4850.
Hear from DIENER & DIENER architect Terese Erngaard about her visions for the construction project, which aims to preserve the buildings at the harbor and center the town and its history in a plan that safeguards Stubbekøbing’s landmarks and distinctive architecture.

And experience Danh Vo’s monumental work Tropaeolum, composed of a series of ancient oak trees from French state forests that were felled by a storm. Stubbekøbing is Tropaeolum’s final destination; here, the work takes root and tells stories of climate change, displacement, and life on Earth.
