Kultur på Tværs is an art association of professional and non-professional artists connected to Lolland-Falster. We aim to build community, increase visibility, and foster cross-cultural artistic exchange.
The Hugin group (Calle Hansen, Rudi Lund, Bodil Pedersen, Jane Winther, and Marianne Lauritzen) will exhibit until June 8. Marianne Henriksen follows with a solo show until June 15.
THE PAINTING CLUB HUGIN VÆGGERLØSE
We are a group passionate about painting, meeting weekly during the winter to “play artists” and enjoy the creative process together. The club began on Huginsvej in Væggerløse – hence the name. We differ in age, gender, and background but share one common passion: painting. Our differences inspire us and foster mutual feedback – all in a cozy and friendly setting.

The name HUGIN comes from Old Norse and means “thought.” In mythology, Hugin was one of Odin’s two ravens, flying out each day to return with knowledge from the world. Painting is also a way of sharing thoughts – through the wordless language of form and color, whether you're a renowned artist or an unknown amateur from Lolland-Falster.
Kultur på Tværs members will exhibit at Købmandsgården throughout the summer.
