Mea Sculpa? 24 Feb - 9 Jun 2024

As part of Den Frie’s exhibition series Dacapo, Louis Scherfig and Frederik Worm present the exhibition Mea Sculpa? Dacapo is a series which revisits former artist-run spaces.
Louis Scherfig works with sculpture, image, sound and text. Through sensorial installations and textual works, he examines how language expands individual and convention-based reality. His works use fiction and speculation as method and as a tool to embody complex aspects of an accelerating time and world. Scherfig co-runs the exhibition space and artist group Bizarro and creates continuous films with artist Anne-Mette Schultz about two mice who try to save the world.
Frederik Worm lives and works in Berlin. His works examine production, distribution and intimacies in various forms of representation. He often works with other artists or groups and has toured with musician CTM/Cæcilie Trier since 2022. Worm’s work has recently been shown at Café Oto, London (UK); Berlin Atonal, Berlin (DE); CPH:DOX, København (DK); After 8 Books, Paris (FR); Kunstmuseum St. Gallen, St. Gallen (CH).
