You are warmly welcome to the opening of this summer’s major exhibition with Lars Fredrikson at Malmö Konsthall, Friday 23 May, 7–11 PM.
This is the first major presentation in Sweden of the French-Swedish artist and features a selection of his multifaceted practice – from paintings, engravings, and collages to sound works and kinetic sculptures.
Lars Fredrikson was born in Stockholm and moved to France in 1960. Trained as a radio engineer, he began early on to experiment with electronics and television. His works often capture what cannot be seen – the invisible waves and frequencies of space. Through his artistic practice, he explored our perception of space and movement, the boundaries between absence and presence, sound and form.
