Danish Press Photo of the Year showcases both winning photos and nominated photographs from the competition. Each year, Danish press photographers and their finest shots are recognized in categories such as 'News Picture of the Year,' 'Portrait of the Year,' 'Sports Picture of the Year,' and 'Press Photo of the Year.'
The nominated images for the main prize in 2025 cover some of the biggest stories of our time as well as deeply personal emotions: the largest demonstration in Greenland, youth in Ukraine, gangsters, children’s struggles, and the Danish summer. The winner will be announced on Friday, March 6.
