Vindens korridorer is an experimental musical composition about breath, air, and the body. The piece is performed by musician Kirsten Aage and composed by sound artist and composer Lars Kynde, who has also developed the special flute on which the work is performed.
In the piece, the flute is gradually expanded and moves away from the classical sound of a flute. It progressively frees itself from the musician’s life-giving breath: first learning to draw air from mechanical lungs, and later to vibrate entirely without airflow.
The concert can be experienced alongside the exhibition Udvekslingszone by Kirstine Autzen, which takes oxygenation and circulation as its theme. The event takes place in a former hospital kiosk at Frederiksberg Hospital. The concert lasts approximately 15 minutes and the exhibition is open from 4-6 pm.
