The films unfold small narratives about the relationship between humans and nature in a time marked by change and instability. Instead of classic landscape motifs, the audience encounters a visual world where humans, animals, and plants coexist in a fragmented and unpredictable environment. The works take their point of departure in modern rural life and are partly inspired by Vangsgaard’s own upbringing in a countryside setting.
