For the first time in Denmark, such a comprehensive collection of contemporary Italian artists is being presented, curated by Andrea B. Del Guercio – professor and expert in contemporary Italian art. The exhibition showcases works in painting, sculpture, and photography, offering a kaleidoscopic whole where Italy’s artistic traditions meet contemporary experimentation.
Guests are invited to enjoy an immersive and sensory experience with art, Italian music, delicacies, and sparkling wine.
The exhibition features works by the following acclaimed artists: Antonio Caporaso, Bruno Ceccobelli, Maria Cristina Cianci, Franco Cipriano, Ugo Cordasco, Vincenzo Elefante, Giulio Lacchini, Antonio Levolella, Lello Lopez, Concetta Modica, Gianfranco Notargiacomo, Enzo Palumbo, Eliana Petrizzi, Stefano Pizzi, Adele Prosdocimi, Franco Sortini, and Tarshito.
These artists have participated in international biennials and exhibited at renowned museums. Together, they offer a vibrant reflection of Italy’s artistic dynamism, where tradition meets innovation.
The exhibition is organized by DIAA – Danish Italian Art Association, a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that promotes cultural exchange between Danish and Italian contemporary art. It is hosted in collaboration with Roskilde Art Association at Palæfløjen, beautifully located behind the UNESCO-listed Roskilde Cathedral.
