Opening of Malmö Konsthall's summer exhibition EHM [Event Horizon Malmö] featuring the Korean artist Koo Jeong A, representing South Korea at this year's Venice Biennale.
The exhibition showcases the artwork OooOoO Malmö (2024): a skatepark entirely constructed in wood. The piece is specifically designed for Malmö Konsthall's characteristic exhibition space, wedging its star formation between the building's supporting pillar functions.
The vernissage offers a preview of the exhibition, mingling, and skate performances. Restaurant SMAK's bar and garden will remain open throughout the evening. Co-hosts of the opening are Skate Malmö and Bryggeriet Gymnasium, whose students will skate the artwork during the vernissage. The exhibition runs until August 25th.
