Københavns Kunsthandel is very proud to present drawings by the Spanish-born artist Patricia Perales García (b. 1991) with an intimate hanging in the back room of the gallery
The exhibition presents a series of drawings, six of which are part of the artist’s Motherhood Series. The title of the series stands as an echo of the search that arose during the artist’s pregnancy. A time when working with clean and carefully selected materials was not only a desire, but a necessity. The drawings therefore appear as a material manifestation of an awareness of health and thoughtfulness, something that can also be recognized in Patricia Perales García’s visual expression.
Patricia Perales García (b. 1991) was born in Spain. After several years of studying and living in both Florence and London, she now lives and works between Copenhagen and the South Zealand island of Glænø. Her works have been shown at, among others, San Mei Gallery, Laura Bartlett Gallery, Carlota Oyarzun Gallery, V1 Gallery and Københavns Kunsthandel.
