In the scenic fields near Stubbekøbing, artist Tue Greenfort sets the stage with life-sized bronze castings of a sugar beet and cattail, forming a site-generated artistic intervention at Orevej — a modest natural area just outside town.
Three bronze sculptures of different plant species are temporarily installed on the boundary between a municipally owned, EU-funded nature reserve and the surrounding agricultural land. The area is historically significant as a registered habitat for the green toad (Bufotes viridis), a species under strict protection. However, information on-site about the conservation status is sparse, though it is evident that efforts and resources have been invested in preserving the area.
Visitors arriving at the site encounter a small parking lot and two informational signs, offering limited context about the project's financial backers — various ministries and the EU. A handwritten phone number, without a name, has been added to the display boards detailing the site's ecological and financial background. This is where the rare green toad lives and breeds.

Following this outdoor installation, Greenfort’s bronze works will transition from the natural landscape into the cultural space, where they will be included in the exhibition DOSED ARTSCAPE - First Dosis: Art from the South Sea Islands at Kunst-Doseringen.
Meeting point: Naturengen, Orevej nr. 123.
