The 23 studios, a graphics workshop and the exhibition space Classeværelset are spread over four floors. It is a living community where, across generations, work is done with many different media and expressions.
Kunstnerhuset in Classensgade is a large studio community located on Østerbro in Copenhagen. The house was built in 1879 as a factory building and is located in the beautiful large yard between Classensgade, Østerbrogade and Willemoesgade.
The building has housed artists since 1980. Today, the building is owned by Den Erhvervsdrivende Fond Kunstnerhuset in Classensgade.
