Dancing in the Streets (On Power) fokuserer på temporære kunstformer – performances, happenings, situationer og manifestationer i offentlige rum. Udstillingen sporer kunstneriske eksperimenter, der opstår ét sted i verden og spreder sig videre: Fra radikale interventioner i 1960’ernes Sydamerika til anti-autoritære, selvorganiserede projekter i 1980’ernes New York – og videre til nye kunstneriske platforme i Vestafrika i 2010’erne.
Det er ikke én samlet fortælling, men et væld af historier, der tilsammen danner en levende beretning om kunstens potentiale i offentlige rum.
