Maisa Majakka (b. 1989, Helsinki) is a Finnish sculptor working with high-fire ceramics. She holds
an MFA from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts. Her work centers on themes of human condition and the female experience, drawing on pop-culture references and her personal memories of girlhood and friendship. Majakka’s works are included in numerous public and private collections in Finland and abroad, including the State Art Collection, the Miettinen Collection, and the Finnish National Gallery / Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma. Maisa Majakka is currently working at the Arabia Art Department Society as a visiting artist.
