On the opening Friday 5th May Mam! will launch the artist book ”Can art be: To navigate terrain.”
Mam! is an art collective of 10 Swedish young artists founded in 2016 with the ambition to create a platform for solidarity, network and feminism. To create room for artistic, intellectual and political discussion and exchange. This by arranging exhibitions, collaborations with other collectives, making publications and art.
Members of Mam! live and work in Stockholm, Umeå, Dals-Långed, Göteborg, Malmö and Copenhagen, with educational background from Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm, The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Valand Academy and Umeå Academy of Fine Arts.
Part of Mam! are Sara Annsofidotter, Theodora Ekholm, Olivia Pettersson Fleur, Anna Hillbom, Josefin Hildor, Funny Livdotter, Ida-Johanna Lundqvist, Therese Nilsson, Sofia Pettersson and Linda Sestrajcic.
