Needy, Nerdy, Artificial – Episode 2

Rebecca Krasnik's work responds to the theme of the chain and Nemanja Askov's work in the first episode. In the following episode, Ivan Grubanov explores national identities through mirrors and flag fragments. Uffe Isolotto concludes the series by bringing together the previous installations in a transformation of the gallery space itself.

The chain exhibition format creates a dynamic and unpredictable process in which each artist's response to the previous work is spontaneous. This non-hierarchical approach allows for multiple interpretations and connections, making 'Needy, Nerdy, Artificial' a space where artistic unpredictability becomes the medium itself.

Rebecca Krasnik works between photography and computer-generated imagery. Her work focuses on the role of images in the construction of time and identity. Taking a historical approach, she allows echoes from the past to shed light on how technological developments continue to change the way we create and interact with images today.

TITLED is a non-profit exhibition space that promotes new Danish and international contemporary art. Located at street level on Ægirsgade in Copenhagen, with a large window facing the street, the venue provides an accessible and engaging space for this dynamic series.

The exhibition is supported by the Danish Arts Foundation, the City of Copenhagen Council for Visual Arts, Nørrebro Local Committee, Knud Højgaards Fond, Lizzi and Mogens Staal Fonden.

'Needy, Nerdy, Artificial' takes place over four episodes from 23 August to 1 December 2024:
