Thirty years after the invention of Terravision, a 3D mapping software that is hailed as the genesis of the now widely used Google Earth program, artists Emilia Bergmark, Cecilia Germain, Liz Larner, Liu Shiyuan, Laure Prouvost, and Barbara Stauffacher Solomon present new and recent works in a group exhibition, curated by Mamie Beth Cary. The six artists and world travelers born in France, China, Sweden, and the USA, working in different media, such as painting, photography, installation, and film, offer their own interpretation of the bird’s-eye view, their own mapping and “earthly” visions.
