In the spring of 2026, Rum for Æstetik’s exhibition space has been transformed into a total installation filled with artworks created through sensory and aesthetic experiments with collected natural materials. The works were created under the open sky, through inclusive and participatory art processes with children and young people from daycare centers, schools, after-school programs, youth clubs, and language schools.
Thanks to a grant from the Villum Foundation, Rum for Æstetik can offer outdoor art workshops all year round in the middle of Blågårdsgade. On Tuesday, June 2, from 3:00–5:30 p.m., they are opening their doors and inviting all interested children, young people, and adults to experience the first phase of the project Art in the Open Air.
