The gallery’s history spans nearly two decades. From 2008 to 2012, it was located at the legendary address Absalonsgade 21B— where V1 Gallery began its career. Wonderland took over the gallery space in 2008, emerging in the slipstream of Wonderland Magazine.
Over the following five years at the address, Wonderland produced more than 40 exhibitions and events and was voted Best Gallery in Copenhagen 2008 by AOK.
Wonderland Art Space is not just another white-cube gallery. It’s a hybrid space where cutting-edge contemporary art meets design—where disciplines collide and new worlds emerge. A living platform for ideas and creative energy. A place where things happen, people connect, and creativity is allowed to bloom. Wonderland has always stood for being ahead of the curve with a strong passion for the upcoming art scene. That spirit defines Wonderland art space—and it should be felt the moment you step inside.
