Conversation between Inuuteq Storch and graphic designer and publisher Jacob Birch about photography, archives and photo books. The conversation will take place in Politikens Boghal, JP/Politikens Hus.
The exhibitions Rise of the Sunken Sun in Fotografisk Center and Breathe the Ice in Politikens Forhal with Inuuteq Storch are presented in a special partnership that includes a joint opening and series of events in Fotografisk Center and Politikens Forhal, highlighting the many facets of Storch's artistic practice.

Meet artist Samara Sallam and Director of Tensta Konsthall Cecilia Widenheim and hear about their work with social engagement, change and representation.
Samara Sallam was born in Damascus in 1991 and trained as a visual artist, journalist and hypnotherapist. Cecilia Widenheim, former curator at Moderna Museet in Stockholm and director of Malmö Konstmuseum, will share her views on institutional practice as care and socio-political engagement. The moderator is Matthias Borello, founder and editor of Social Form.

The public is invited to debate when Art Hub Copenhagen opens its doors for this symposium.
The concept of transparency will be scrutinised together with curators, artists and researchers. Through this lens, the symposium will explore and share experiences and analyses of contemporary art, its conditions and preconditions.

Under the heading Trier's sublime universe and consistent characterisation, literature lecturer and author Lilian Munk Rösing discusses Lars von Trier's image-rich sceneries and his portraits of women.
The dialogue, in Danish, takes place in connection with the current exhibition Breaking Darkness about Lars von Trier's universe and is moderated by visual artist Augusta Atla.

At Huset you can attend a one-day exhibition and talk based on artist Benedikte Bjerre's work Bigger Picture, located in Skrydstrup, Southern Jutland.
Through a talk with Benedikte Bjerre, art advisor Charlotte Bagger Brandt and curator Frida Rask Wolff, who all specialise in art in public spaces, will explore how art can function as site-specific and relational manifestations.

The following conversation will be moderated by visual artist Louis André Jørgensen, who will lead the conversation into what actually happens in artists' own practices when they undergo a PhD programme and what it does to the art field that more and more artists are taking these superstructures.
